Love has conditions.
If you stop growing the garden you promised you would,
then I can no longer keep giving you water for our bounty.
The truth is, there is no reason for anything.
That is the beauty of all things.
The purpose is to seek the beauty in it.
It’s really easy to question someone else’s happiness
when you’re in a state of questioning your own.
Love is experiencing the full spectrum of what the human experience has to offer in another person.
You are the whole entire plant baby,
the roots beneath the surface
and the flower shining in the sun.
I’m sorry I’m not living up to your expectations
of who you think I am
but this is exactly who I knew I was.
It just took me sometime to show it.
Excuse me for paying attention to my coincidences.
I believe in the unfolding of my life.
Before you listen to someone else’s advice
about how to live your life
make sure you listen to how they talk
when they tell you how they live theirs.
If you don’t agree with how they live life,
you probably won’t agree with
how they tell you to live yours.
You cry about what you do,
I cry about what I don’t say.
I am on this earth to give love.
And so the amount of love I receive in return
is not counted when asked if I lived my purpose.
Don’t be concerned about what happens when you die.
Be concerned about what happens when you’re alive.
Are you dying while living?
Or living while dying?
Instead of questioning what is “good” or “bad”
Question why you think life requires division
We make decisions based on what is “good” for ourselves
But what if all the ideas we have about what is “good” for us
Are what’s wrong with the world?
The only guarantee in life is the experience of it.
And so all you have to contemplate is
what you want to experience in this lifetime?
The sad thing is,
We think we have the free will to make choices
But every choice has already been made for us
By the people who teach us how to make choices.
We think we suffer because we made a “bad” choice
But really, we suffer when we choose to experience suffering
I have to stop grieving.
For I cannot lose someone,
Who made themselves out of me.
If we were to stop thinking
about what the essence of the world could be,
the understanding would arrive.
Choose who you want to be
Over and over
And what you want to be
Will eventually become
Who you are
The magic of everything
is that it’s possible
The truth is we aren’t going to exist forever
It’s a question of what we want
The end of our existence to look like
There is no absolute truth,
If you go on a hunt seeking it,
You will be searching for it
Until every stone is turned over.
That’s the reason it doesn’t exist.
But is told that it does.
It’s amazing how much
the human spirit can progress over a lifetime
And yet some choose to only live at its inception
If your goal is only knowledge and understanding
You will be at peace
If your goal is power from knowledge and understanding
You will always be at war
How you love yourself
Is what others see
When they encounter your soul
We don’t tell people our darkest thoughts
Because we’re scared they might think
We believe in them
Instead of “Do I love this person”
We ask “Should this person be loved by me?”
Don’t trust other people’s opinion of you
They are not you, only you are you
Don’t assume someone’s character
Because if you’re wrong about them
The only thing that’s lost
Is the trust you had in your perception of others
It’s good to hang out with people who are just like you
If all we’re seeking is pleasure
But if we want to learn
We have to seek displeasure with people we abhor
To want better for yourself,
So that you can be better for society -
Get in touch with your soul
Feelings can only be described as deep
as the extent that we consider their depths.
The soul is the purpose,
not what the body shows up as.
You always wanted me to be
as sad as you were when we were apart
I wanted us to be happy together
Do not judge yourself for the choices you have made
Judge the societal conditioning that taught you
Those were the right choices to make
You don’t get to choose whether or not you’ll experience heartbreak
But you do get to choose who breaks your heart
