5. jesus christ is just a metaphor

What I love most about writing is the opportunity for escapism. When I’m telling stories I don’t need to be right, I don’t even need to be real. I’m illiciting my imagination every time I keep a record of the thoughts coming in and out of my head. I start at one point, one plot line begins and then I take it anywhere I want. There’s always some truth to it but the meaning is metaphorical. That’s how writing transcends from my mind into the minds of those around me. I make it relatable by elevating it emotionally. I make it more than just a thought or a story, it becomes a feeling others can revel or rival with.

When we think about language, something must exist in order for it’s opposite to exist. We establish what came first by giving what proceeded a non or not at the beginning.

Imaginative. Non-imaginative.
Real. Not Real.
Fiction. Non-fiction.

And in that sense, fantasy came first.

Don’t forget that.

It’s important to remember.
